Real numbers, verified independently

Every number on JuicySMS is a real, SIM-based mobile number on a real mobile carrier. They are not VoIP numbers, not virtual landlines, and not internet-relay numbers. We offer numbers from the United States (+1), the United Kingdom (+44), the Netherlands (+31), and the Philippines (+63).

This matters because many platforms reject VoIP numbers during signup — so the number type is the first thing people worry about. You don't have to take our word for it. You can check any JuicySMS number yourself, in about a minute, with a free tool we don't control.

Verify it yourself

Use IPQualityScore's free phone number lookup. It's an independent tool — we don't run it, and we can't influence what it reports. A quick check needs no account, and you can create a free IPQS account yourself for fuller lookup details — it includes 1,000 free lookups.

1

Step 1 — Open the free lookup.

Go to ipqualityscore.com/free-phone-number-lookup and enter the JuicySMS number you received, including its country code.

2

Step 2 — Read the "Line Type" field.

It should say Mobile or Wireless — anything except VoIP or Landline confirms a genuine mobile line.

3

Step 3 — Check the carrier and the Fraud Score.

You will see a real mobile carrier name (for example, Verizon Wireless or T-Mobile) and IPQS's Fraud Score for the number. A clean number shows a spam score of 0 — no spam or abusive activity on record. A genuine mobile line, a real carrier, and a zero spam score is exactly what a verification system wants to see.

If the tool confirms a clean mobile line with a zero spam score, the number is doing its job. So when a code doesn't arrive, the number is usually not the reason — and the next section explains what is.

Why codes sometimes still don't arrive

A real, clean number is necessary — but it isn't the only thing a platform checks.

When you sign up somewhere, the target platform scores your whole signup, not just the phone number. Before it even sends the SMS, its risk system weighs several signals together:

Your device fingerprint — browser, screen size, fonts, time zone, and other details that identify your setup.

Your IP reputation — whether your connection looks like a home network or a flagged datacenter, VPN, or shared proxy.

Cookies and account history — old sessions and past accounts stored in your browser.

Signup velocity — how many accounts are being created, how fast, from the same device or network.

If that overall picture looks risky, the platform can silently decide not to send the SMS at all — even to a perfect number. The order then expires with no code. It looks like a number problem, but the number never got a chance.

This is also why two people can order a number from the same country and get completely different results: the difference is everything else about the signup. Fixing your own signup footprint is usually what makes the code start arriving.

How to fix a verification code that doesn't arrive

Work through these steps in order. Most "no code" cases are solved in the first few.

  1. 1

    Start a fresh order.

If an order expired with no SMS, just make a new order — you'll get a clean, unused number. If one country keeps failing for a service, order another: US (+1), UK (+44), Netherlands (+31), or Philippines (+63). An order that expires without an SMS is never charged, so retrying costs you nothing.

  2. 2

    Double-check the service you selected.

Codes are routed per service, so order the number for the exact service you're verifying. A re-used number only works for the same service you ordered it for before.

  3. 3

    Enter the number correctly.

Type it in full international format with the country code, no spaces or extra symbols. One wrong or missing digit means the code goes nowhere.

  4. 4

    Wait the full order window.

Codes are not always instant. Don't cancel or restart early — a code that was on its way can be lost if you give up too soon.

  5. 5

    Start a clean browser session.

Old cookies and past accounts tie your browser to earlier signups. Open a private/incognito window, or clear the site's cookies, so the platform sees a fresh visitor.

  6. 6

    Try a different device.

Platforms fingerprint your hardware and browser. If the code won't come on one device, switch to another — a real phone instead of an emulator, or a different computer — and try again.

  7. 7

    Change your IP address.

Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or restart your router to get a new IP. A flagged datacenter or shared IP can get your signup blocked before any SMS is sent — a clean residential or mobile IP from a provider like JuicyProxies also works.

  8. 8

    Toggle your VPN.

This works both ways: if you are browsing through a VPN, turn it off — many VPN IP ranges are already flagged. If you are not using one and your own IP keeps getting blocked, connecting through a reputable VPN can give you a cleaner address.

  9. 9

    Slow down your signups.

Creating many accounts quickly from one place triggers velocity limits. Space out your attempts and verify one account at a time.

When it IS the number

Sometimes the number is the cause. Here's when.

Across the whole industry, real mobile numbers get recycled over time. Once in a while, a specific number carries some history with a specific platform, and that one service treats it as already seen. That's not a fake number — it's just a busy one.

The fix is simple: order a different number, or switch to a different country for the same service. And you never pay for a failure — if no SMS is delivered, your order expires and you are not charged. We only charge you when an SMS is actually delivered, so retrying costs nothing until a code arrives.

Still stuck? Contact support via live chat, [email protected], or Discord. If a specific service keeps failing, we can replace the numbers for it.

FAQ

Are JuicySMS numbers real or VoIP?

They are real, SIM-based mobile numbers on real mobile carriers — not VoIP. That's why they work with verification systems that reject virtual numbers.

How can I check that a number is real myself?

Enter the number in IPQualityScore's free phone lookup. It should show a mobile/wireless line type, a real carrier name, and a clean (zero) fraud score — exactly what a genuine mobile SIM looks like. A number that's been heavily used can occasionally carry some history, but that doesn't mean it's fake.

The code didn't arrive — does that mean the number is fake?

Usually not. The platform scores your whole signup — device, IP, cookies, and signup speed — and can block the SMS before the number ever receives it. Work through the troubleshooting steps first; a clean browser session and a clean IP fix most cases.

Do I get charged if no code arrives?

No. We only charge you when an SMS is actually delivered. If an order expires without a code, you pay nothing — just make a new order.

Can I re-use a number or switch country?

Yes. You can re-use a number for the same service at half the original price — but only short-term, until the number refreshes. You can also start a new order in another country: US (+1), UK (+44), Netherlands (+31), or Philippines (+63).
